tucker collage

This is a compilation of photographs, digital drawing and painting, and an amazing adventure in photoshop!!

simple wolves

Simple Wolves evolved into my current logo.

Simple Wolves was the beginning of my logo. I penned the wolves in Illustrator.

tuck-burg

Another class project honing photoshop and illustrator skills.
It was a real challenge to line my huskies up against the juxtaposed wolves to create the effect I was looking for.

work in progress

this last image hopefully finishes the progression of my surreal photo, exhibiting a place 'in between'. in between what?

hmmm,,, do you want me to give you all the answers??

in any case, comments are invited.

here is the rounded moon, plus filters that muted parts of the back ground.

i tried to create a feeling of here and now, plus areas where you can slip into another reality,,, a different here and now.

i've added versions, where some of the parts of the picture are lighter or darker,
brighter, or less bright. i replaced the oval moon with a more rounded one.

i've added effects that bring out or hide parts of the photo through masks, levels, and curves.

Here is a panorama of Los Angeles Airport at night which I turned in for
my 'panorama project'. I hoped to convey some of the activity there at night.

project in progress

I chose Dali as my surreal artist because I love the way he creates an illusion of interrupted space and time.
His knack of making it all look so easy is totally awesome.
I know because it is anything but easy!!

I had a couple of false starts, but got into this one, and I think
it's going in the right direction.

Here is my work in progress to date.

My artist choice for my final is Salvador Dali whose work has fascinated me for a very long time.

Here is a link to his museum in St. Petersburg, Florida:
